This guitar was built using an Ibanez Thinline body from the early 70s and a Warmoth replacement neck. Gitarren Total in Zurich assembeled this axe for me. I used Seymore Duncan PUs. It sounds surprisingly good! Perfect for blues and mellow stuff.

The Thinline body shape and the 70`s oversized Fender head is one of my favourite looks for a guitar.

14x7" 10 ply maple snare. Camouflage covering, flat black powdercoat, custom bullet lugs (really sharp). Sounds loud and a bit dry. Wide open with medium low tensions.

A standard 2005 Ludwig Blacrolite (Black Acrolite) 14x5" snare with woodhoops made by Lignum Drums. The woodhoops take the edge of the higher frequencies and beef up rimshots. This is one of the three snares every drummer should own. Sounds great on recordings.

13x7" Snare, 6ply maple, rounded edges, dark brown wax finish & the cheapest parts I could find.

I made this thing when I was just out of college and dirt-poor. So all crappy parts got replaced over time with higher quality parts. The strainer is a nickelworks now, like all my custom snares. This was my workhorse snare for a good 3 years. Now it's the spare ;)

This is the first snare I did back in 2004 and you can hear it on the 2005 Dark Intentions MCD. Sounds very controlled, moderate sustain, low volume.
