This amp has been modded by John Suhr with an extra master volume for the clean channel. Both channels can now be hadled separately. This makes the amp much more useful for me.

I love this amp. The sound is very direct and hard. You`re pushed to play much more accurate. I`ve owned many good amps and sold a Bogner XTC to buy this one. It`s my main rock amp.

UPDATE:
The sound sample is from a song of my bands current album. The chain is:

Tokai LoveRock -> SilverMachine Wah-Wah -> Paul Lenders Booster -> Naylor Duel 60 -> Marshall Slash Signature 4x12 cab

The cab was miced with 2 SM57 mics (for the solo track only 1 was used).

No signal processing! The mics went into a Neve Channel Strip and then direct into ProTools HD. Only a little Delay has been added to the solo track.

My Marshall, well when this amp, model 1962, came in produktion it's nickname was "Bluesbreaker". Since a lot of changes was made, but it still sounds better then the RI Marshall made later. I've never seen another in Denmark, maybe this one is the "one and only" for me it is.

Older Eganter M4 with a Twin Vox, Marshall Super Lead 2 and Hi Gain Module.
In conjunction with the EL 34 Advance power amp a good combi to keep up with the real vintage tones.I use it when I record in other studios than my own.... less cartage.......


But I got to admit that the preamp just can't keep up with the heads and the Hi Gain originals. The heads are still superior especially in the GAIN MODEAS!
