This unit contains the original "Whammy I" chip and that is the main reason why I bought it (besides wanting a rack unit). It sounds really warm and analog. Downside is that it makes a hell of noise. So you can`t keep it in your signal when you don`t use it.

cheap and does what i need.

It has 10 banks of 10 presets. Each preset can send five program change messages, two control change messages, note messages, and switch two relays on or off. It also has two expression pedals to send control change messages.

I currently use the two relays to switch each channel on the V-Twin on and off independently, until I get some way of doing it by MIDI.

Here's the Alesis DataDisk SQ in all its glory: who ever thought i was still buying floppy disks nowadays? :-)

The DataDisk stores/reads MIDI data, Sys-ex and sequences (as long as it is the SQ version).

Used for dumps, backup of presets... despite the number of software doing the same kind of thing, this still keeps coming useful.

I use this board to switch channels on my main amp and simultaneously change presets on my TC G-Major. It has space for 100 presets, which is more than enough and it's really awesome to go for example from clean w/ chorus directly to higain w/ reverb and delay just by hitting one pedal on the board.

I stole this cable management thing from a rack outside a building one night. I removed the cable management stuff to get a blank panel. Now it has a stereo 6.5 mm jack and a midi jack, which connect to the simple channel switcher in the V-Twin and the midi in of the MPX-G2 respectively.

One day I hope to add a guitar input and send some phantom power down the midi cable to the FCB1010.
